From Parking Del Golfo you can easily reach important tourist attractions of Naples, such as the Islet of Megaride on which stands the Castel dell'Ovo and Borgo Marinari. Very interesting are also the remains of the villa of Licinio Lucullo at Monte Echia and the monumental Fountain of the Giant. In a few minutes, on foot, you can reach Piazza Plebiscito and admire: The Pontifical Royal Basilica of San Francesco di Paola, Palazzo della Prefettura, Palazzo Salerno and the Royal Palace of Naples; from there you can continue towards the San Carlo Theater and Umberto Primo Gallery. In a very short time you can enter the historic center of Naples, the spanish quarters and the spaccanapoli district (heart of the old city). |
